Q : Which PDAs are supported?

A :Almost all PDAs including Palm, PocketPC, WindowsCE, Psion, and Franklin eBook are supported! We use the Mobipocket reader (http://www.mobipocket.com) which is constantly being updated to work with the new devices.

Q : Will eMedicine eBooks fit on my PDA?

A : In most cases yes. Some of our books at our Secure Online Store are very large and may not fit in their entirety on some PDAs. In these cases we allow you to download them in sections for particular medical specialties. The other option if a book doesn't fit is to put it on an expansion card which is discussed in the next section.

Q : Which expansion cards are supported?

A : We have successfully tested our books on both the Compaq Ipaq and the Visor Platinum expansion cards. You can download our entire library onto these cards.

Mobipocket Has Now Added Support For Palm m500 Series and Sony Clie Expansion Cards, as well as for the Handera.

For our customers who own Palm M500 Series, Sony Clie PDAs, or Handera PDAs, Mobipocket has released a new version of their software which is compatible with the Palm m500 Series expansion cards and the Sony Clie Memory Stick. The software may be downloaded by going back to www.mobipocket.com and downloading the latest version of the Mobipocket Reader.

Q : Do you support Macs?

A : Yes. We support both Windows and Macintosh computers for synchronizing your PDAs.
